The situation

Matrack is a GPS fleet-tracking and ELD brand competing in a crowded category against the likes of RedTiger, Vantrue, HOS247, Campark and Lytx. The engagement began in October 2024 as a full-scope SEO programme: strategy, technical foundations, content, link building and AI visibility, with the goal of scaling qualified organic traffic and the authority that both search engines and AI answer engines reward.

What we did

  • SEO Strategy: category and keyword mapping across the fleet-tracking, ELD and dash-cam buyer journey, prioritised by commercial value. See the service page for how this runs.
  • Technical SEO: resolving the crawl, indexation and site-health issues that were capping organic growth. See the service page for how this runs.
  • Content: building and optimising the comparison and buyer-intent pages that win this category. See the service page for how this runs.
  • Link Building: editorial, manual-review-safe placements to grow authority and referring domains. See the service page for how this runs.
  • Editorial Outreach: relevance-led coverage to corroborate Matrack as a trusted entity in its space. See the service page for how this runs.
  • AI Visibility: structuring content and entities so the brand surfaces in AI answers and SERP features, not just classic listings. See the service page for how this runs.

Outcome

Across the 14-month engagement (October 2024 to November 2025), Matrack’s organic search performance scaled sharply. Organic traffic grew to 16,957 per month, worth $30,618 in monthly organic traffic value by the end of the engagement. Referring domains climbed to 984 and Domain Rating held steady, the compounding result of the strategy, content and link-building programme. All figures from Ahrefs.

The programme also expanded Matrack’s presence in SERP features, including AI Overviews, featured snippets and sitelinks, the surfaces that increasingly decide who gets seen and cited.

By the end of the engagement Matrack dominated its own brand-entity space, holding the large majority of entity-level traffic against adjacent organisations.

Top entities: Matrack holds 89.1% of entity-level organic traffic, well ahead of adjacent organisations.

About these figures. This case study covers the October 2024 to November 2025 engagement, and all figures are as of the end of that engagement (November 2025), sourced from Ahrefs. Performance after the engagement closed is outside its scope.

Why this fits the RankingBite model

Matrack is what a full-scope programme looks like when strategy, technical SEO, content and link building move together: authority and rankings compound, and the same signals that lift classic search also feed the SERP features and AI answer engines that increasingly decide who gets recommended.
